Head of Content

As the Head of Content, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing ViralHog’s content management strategies. This role oversees the day-to-day activities and management of the content team and ensures the daily posting of our newly acquired video assets to all relevant platforms, monitors our social channels to ensure compliance, identifies new opportunities and risks as it relates to our social channels, activates, tests, and implements new features, works on constant optimization of our processes as it relates to content posting, and cross-collaborates with other departments to work on content related projects.
Responsibilities:
- • Plan, develop, and execute content strategies aligned with overall business and departmental goals as well as the target audience
- • Manage a team of content creators, providing training, guidance, feedback, and support
- • Monitor and analyze content performance utilizing analytical tools to make data-driven decisions and create overviews to generate desired content-related reports
- • Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, follows brand guidelines, and ensures compliance standards are met
- • Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor content strategies to maintain a competitive edge
- • Ensure compliance with terms and conditions to maintain good standing for all ViralHog branded social media profiles
- • Analyze and review the content proposed be each team member, ensuring that videos are compliant on the platforms they are posted to while maximizing the revenue potential of every video
- • Cross-departmental collaboration on internal projects
- • Discover and launch new social media profiles to expand brand awareness and capitalize on new revenue opportunities.
- • Identify and implement monetization opportunities and other features on social media platforms.
Qualifications and Experience:
- • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- • Extensive knowledge of the YouTube Partnership Program, YouTube CMS, YouTube Terms of Service, and YouTube Ad Policies
- • Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, and social media management
- • Experience posting to all social media platforms, and in-depth knowledge of each platform’s terms and conditions, and monetization policies
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Leadership and people management skills
- • Exceptional collaboration and organization skills
- • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- • Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro

As an office assistant, you will work closely with the Accounting and HR departments to complete clerical and administrative tasks as assigned. Your main duties would include working closely with the accounting department to process vendor and customer onboarding forms, data entry, account reconciliations, AR/AP support tasks, and assisting Human Resources with special projects to ensure all organizational needs are met.
This will be considered a part-time position, about 25-30 hours per week.

This individual is an expert in all things ViralHog - what we do, how we protect content, the details of our license agreement and more.
The position collaborates with the departments of Accounting, Licensing/Sales, and Copyright to ensure the success of licensed videos on all fronts.
Many backgrounds can excel in this position, but communication skills and a tenacious self-starter attitude are key. Experience with, and a passion for, social platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and Instagram are important. A successful candidate will have a love for subreddits or community sites with a focus on viral videos and GIFS. Ultimately, the Research Specialist is ViralHog’s greatest champion and most active salesperson.
