This was his second time ever snowboarding, but he had been skateboarding with me in a similar way for a year or 2 prior. He leans on my leg to balance. If I turn too sharply, I can feel him losing his hold against my leg. The more we practice, the faster we can go and the sharper we can turn. Berthoud pass is an old ski resort that went out of business in Colorado years ago. It is 15 minutes before winter park ski resort off highway 40. This run was where the main lift line used to be for berthoud ski resort. The Rocky Mountains. Clear creek/ grand county, Colorado."
