I got these creature hands for a music video project I was going to create in March for the release of my upcoming album “movie night” (We will be announcing the album release this week!). After outfitting the inside of the gloves with another pair of gloves so I could effectively wear them, I started using them to play with my 3yr old nephew on FaceTime during COVID lockdown and wanted to make an instructional video demonstrating putting on a mask for him. We tried to film this video and just as my friend gave up I begged her to shoot just one more minute...she said ok...hit record...and the baby hummingbird appeared as if by magic!"
