Lion Latches onto Man's Arm

Info from Licensor: We were on a game drive and were told by the driver that the lions were tame. My husband loves animals and went to the fence to stroke the male lion. A female lioness approached the fence and grabbed my husband's arm. He pulled back and she tore his arm open. The hospital gave him 60 stitches, which they were not supposed to do according to another doctor. Because of the stitches, he got septicemia and he almost died the following morning. He was in the hospital and was very sick. I almost lost my husband because we trusted the tour guide.
