Truck Follows Car Into Ditch

Occurred on January 20, 2017 / Minnesota, USA

Info from Licensor: "This crash could've killed me and my daughter, we were on our way to work/school at about 5:50 am it was 37 degrees out and the roads were just wet, until this one corner. We lost control and ended in the ditch. I could've gotten out but the next guy coming around the corner lost it too. Speed limit on this road is 55. He slammed into me and pushed me about 35-40 feet into another car that went in before me. Both my daughter and I were knocked out for a few minutes. We were pulled out and taken by ambulance to a hospital. We were released in a few hours with no broken bones. We were really beat up, lots of bruises. Bruised ribs, multiple other contusions, concussion and stitches were the worst injuries. We walked away only by the grace of God! I spent 3 weeks out of work recovering at home. The other drivers were fine to the best of my knowledge. This video almost didn't happen, I ask my family for the dash camera for Christmas. I waited to mount it in the car for a day above freezing temps. I mounted this camera the evening before, and had maybe 40 min of record time on it. We were worried that I didn't get the video because I didn't know how to use it".
