Lunch Time for a Black Vulture

From the licensor: "A fine meal of defurred rat for a black vulture (coragyps atratus) while in recovery at a wildlife center. It had been shot (as many of the patients are) and it was later released.

Vultures are extremely clever birds, form long lasting family bonds, and have urine and feces that is essentially sterile due to its high acid content. Sadly, many view vultures as pests and omens of death and shoot at or poison these essential scavengers."
