Whale Shark Sighting

Occurred on June 13, 2018 / St. Petersburg, Florida, USA

Info from Licensor: "We were out on the boat and thought we saw a capsized boat. When we went to investigate, we saw that it was a whale shark. We stopped to watch and could not believe we were getting the opportunity of a lifetime to see something so beautiful. It really took a minute to wrap our heads around what we were seeing. I can honestly say that it’s one thing to see them in aquariums or pictures, but until you see one in the wild, it really does something to you. The beauty and natural of these creatures is amazing. I hope that marine biologists are able to track these beauties and keep them safe. We watched the whale swim off and in the video it looked like the whale shark swam off into the sunset. I will never forget this moment and I like to think of the whale shark as mine!"
