Road Rage Machete Incident

Occurred on November 20, 2018 / North Salem, New York, USA

Info from Licensor: "I was heading to work when I had gotten wind from a friend that there was a ten car accident near the Purdy’s area, so I knew to expect to be in traffic that whole morning. What a damper on our morning! I guess the dead stop traffic was getting the best of everyone as well, specifically two men. One was driving a fuel truck and the other was driving a white Lexus. We noticed unusual activity when we saw the Lexus drive off the side of the road and cut off the fuel truck in the right lane. They rolled down their car windows exchanged words and rolled their windows up again. The man driving the white Lexus then proceeded to drive off the side of the road again to cut off the fuel truck again, but this time the man driving the fuel truck veered off to the side blocking the Lexus from cutting him off again. This is when the road rage was about to hit its peak. From where we were in traffic, we had a good spot to witness what was about to go down. They two men got out of their cars and began to argue, then both returning to their cars to retrieve something. The man in the fuel truck grabbed what I thought was a bat but later realized it was a long pipe wrench. The man driving the Lexus came out with a machete and the two men continued arguing. The man with the machete hit the truck and the machete fell to the ground and that was the perfect opportunity for the other man to take advantage of the situation and go after the other man."
