Close Encounters of the Whale Kind

Occurred on November 12, 2017 / Bannister Head Point, New South Wales, Australia

Info from Licensor: "I was invited out for a leisurely Sunday afternoon sail on a 40ft boat. We sighted a few whales migrating South on our voyage. We respect these beautiful creatures and wanted to give them plenty of space between us them. We still had the breeze on our stern, the calves seemed to be moving closer to us in there frolicking. The breach came from nowhere it caught us totally off guard. We were shocked that it was so close. I saw the whale's eye and every detail of its body. The noise of this monster landing was so loud. We are seasoned sailors but it is a sail we will remember for the rest of our lives."
