Rescuing a Baby Bird Stranded in the Ocean

Occurred on January 13, 2022 / Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii, USA

Info from Licensor: I was out on a kayak fishing trip a few miles offshore and saw something small bobbing at the surface. I approached it and it happened to be a small bird, so I scooped it up. It was alive but too tired to move. I rinsed it off and let it hang out on the kayak until we arrived back on shore a few hours later. Once on shore, I opened the hatch to see it happily fly away.
