Snake Snagged by Spider's Web

Occurred on February 19, 2020 / Hallet Cove, South Australia

Info from Licensor: "Baby snakes are hatching in South Australia at the moment, so we are getting many calls a day to say they have a baby snake in their home, yard, office etc. Red back spiders like to feed on skink lizards and baby snakes. This baby eastern brown was caught in a red back spiders web. Moments earlier, the red back spider came down the chair and bit the snake. Then they end up winding the snake or lizard up in its web. Luckily we saved this little snake, kept him for a few days, and then he was released into the wild."
