Info from Licensor: "I'm a daily rider in SoCal (Orange County) and on this particular morning commute to work I happened to have an odd meet-up with an ambulance. I was slowly filtering (lane sharing/splitting) to the intersection at a stoplight which is legal in California and as I passed an ambulance the EMT in the passenger seat decided that was the perfect time to open his door. Thankfully, the only injury was a bruised hand but the bike was a total loss. The EMT was cited and the ambulance company accepted full responsibility. The EMT said he was trying to grab something out of an exterior storage unit at the light and didn't check his mirrors to see if it was clear. Thankfully, my frame slider took the brunt of the hit and not my leg."
