Info from Licensor: "My name is Lohwana Halaq, Animal keeper and Eagle Trainer of the Philippine Eagle Foundation - the only breeding and rehabilitation facility worldwide for the critically endangered bird of prey species, the Philippine eagle. Featured in my video is my human-imprinted Philippine eagle, named Sinag. He is one of our semen donor candidates in our conservation breeding program. Sinag, regards me (his keeper) as his surrogate mate and together we are able to contribute to the next generation of the Philippine eagle species via the breeding method of cooperative artificial insemination (CAI) and mate surrogacy. Sinag is also the ambassador bird for his species and is featured in our Raptors in Flight - the only educational demonstration in the world to feature a Philippine eagle in Flight, and for which I became the first woman in history to flight train the Philippine eagle species using falconry methods. Breeding season is upon us... This means more time is spent trying to stimulate our Philippine eagles in their breeding behaviors. Increasing the frequency of our daily interactions and simulating natural courtship behaviors such as sprig delivery, food offering, and nest-building activities."
