Info from Licensor: A colony of convergent lady beetles that have gathered to overwinter at an elevation of 7,959 feet on Black Mountain in Albany County, Wyoming. The beetles congregate here every fall to overwinter then the following spring these adults migrate back to agriculture fields in search of aphids and places to lay their eggs. In many places, these beetles are collected from these overwintering sites and distributed to growers and garden outlets for insect control.
