Info from Licensor: "Driving my girlfriend to work on New Years Eve day and we hit a sudden stop in traffic and saw a dog running loose down the freeway. We saw it jump over the barricade in between some fences and decided to see if we could safely get to him. He ended up stuck underneath some bushes and initially was very hostile. Further east, where the dog had come from, the freeway has high walls so he was probably trapped in the lanes of traffic and very scared. I think other people further up were trying to grab him as well, but he was a fast runner and trying to find a place to get off the freeway. I'm glad we saw where he jumped because I doubt the police would have found him and no one else near us stopped. After a few minutes, he let me pet him, and then eventually pick him up out of the bushes. As you can hear in the video, the police thought they knew who the owner was. Not sure if he escaped from a home or car or what, but he's a super sweet guy, and I'm glad he's safe. The thought of one of my pets running around on a busy freeway is awful.
The police took the dog in one of their patrol cars and was hopefully reunited with the owner."
