Info from Licensor: "So the rule of thumb when bear viewing is to stay 50 yards from the bears. However, the animals follow their own rules! This mother and three cubs just kept coming closer and closer. We were able to let the bears pass merrily on their way eating sedge grass in the meadow. Our bear viewing guide was a true pro and was calm and collected and did his best to keep us and the bears safe and happy. This park is a unique place where bears are not scared of humans as they are not hunted and only a few people visit the area because it is so remote."
