Occurred on May 29, 2023 / Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Info from Licensor: "Happened around 1 p.m. in Toronto, Canada, on the waterfront, corner of Queen's Quay and Cooper Street. Witnessed the flood for 5 minutes, then it stopped. Don't know how long it was flooding before I saw it. No idea of the cause but people on my TikTok speculated: water pipe burst? The insurance ramifications might be huge. Many people commented saying that the condos on the waterfront are overpriced, and have big maintenance fees but that realtors cut corners in these high rises downtown condos. Rush construction...rush profits. 'Those are tears of tenants paying Toronto rental rates,' said one. On a funny note, we are not far from Niagara Falls, so it made it a new attraction for Toronto."
