Info from Licensor: "I live in Estes Park, Colorado, gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. I have abundant opportunities to photograph wildlife. This video was taken in Estes Park. I was out looking for bluebirds and came across a carcass with magpies feeding on it. I pulled over and moments later noticed 3 coyotes. They fed, but I could see they were nervous. A few minutes later, I saw the reason why and started filming as a mountain lion slowly approached. It would chase the coyotes off, feed, then rest in the brush while the coyotes ate again. This all happened about 9:30am on March 11th, 2024. The lion took down a female elk in the early morning, she is defending her kill. At this point she is exhausted and has gorged herself. The lion and coyotes stayed nearby for 2 days until they had their fill. What’s left is for the scavengers."
