Info from Licensor: "Video of my miracle spinning cat. Sylvie was diagnosed with a heart murmur and heart disease at a very young age. At 1-year-old, I was told she was she was going down hill very quickly as she could barely walk due to her breathlessness, and I was advised to have her put to sleep. I took her to an animal hospital for a second opinion, where she had a scan and was told she did not have heart disease at all! She was in fact suffering from a severe diaphragmatic hernia. Her internals organs were all in her chest cavity and her intestines wrapped tightly around her heart and lungs. Thankfully, the wonderful surgeons were able to reposition her organs and sew up her diaphragm.
The improvement was fantastic, but she was still unable to play due to her lungs being very underdeveloped. I decided to purchase a cat wheel to help build her fitness and strengthen her lungs. she loved it from the word go, although she could only walk for a few seconds before needing to rest. However, I truly believe that she knew how close she came to death and was determined to make the most of the opportunity of life she had been given. The wheel for her has become quite an addiction and she has built up her fitness to such a level that she is now able to gallop at the tremendous speed that is needed for the wheel to 'go over the top' that you see in the video. At 3 years old, she acts like the crazy kitten that she was never well enough to be. My miracle cat, treasured and adored by our family, makes us laugh daily with her antics. Luckily, we were able to capture one of them on video - our Sylvie living life to the fullest!"
