Info from Licensor: Living in an Australian rural bushland area in my tiny home, I have befriended a local family of Kookaburras, one of whom is far bolder than his mates.
Every morning as I step outside my door with my morning coffee, my little mate Shaggy flies in for his breakfast. Over the course of two years, I have earned his trust, to the point that now he not only hand-feeds but allows belly and back scratches as well. He earned his name by generally arriving looking like he just got out of bed, with the feathers on top of his head in complete disarray!
Kookaburras are a magnificent bird, beautifully colored, and always ready for a laugh.
