Info from Licensor: "While kayaking on the Silver River (in Ocala, Florida), I happened upon an extraordinary sight. Rhesus monkeys were diving from trees (15-25 feet above the river) and landing in front, beside, and behind me. They were belly-flopping with loud splashes. It appeared that the smaller females and adolescents were being forced off the limbs by larger male monkeys. They then swam to the opposite shore. There were around 20-30 in all, but I only was able to video 12-14 of them. My cell phone camera was not sharp enough to film the male monkeys who were further back toward the trunks of the tree, and therefore, hidden somewhat by the leaves and foliage."
