Info from Licensor: "It was the afternoon of Saturday, April 20, 2024. I was at our homestead in Cottonwood, Arizona spending time with my family outdoors as usual. We live by the Verde River and the cottonwoods trees were blooming, and their fluffy seeds were floating in the air, which looked like snow. I was trying to film that when it got more windy. In April the locals know that right before the Verde Valley fair it always gets super windy. I thought it was just a windy day, but then I started getting whipped around in my hat flew off. I heard I crash and my kids’ water blowup slide, which is very heavy by the way, was blown over. Sure enough I saw the vortex forming in the dirt in front of our house. I grew up loving the weather and chasing hurricanes in South Florida. So I thought this was neat! The best part was when the dust devil traveled over our fire pit. As it sucked up the ash, you could she how big it truly was, and the vortex extended high into the air beyond what the camera could capture. Toward the end it faded away into the side yard; only swirling tumbleweeds remained within its core."
