Info from Licensor: "Just before 10 a.m., Peterborough Police and OPP responded to the intersection of Highway 7 and Keene Rd after reports of cows on the highway. Upon arrival the discovered 3 cows in the ditch, the escaped from their trailer when it was stopped at a red light, witnesses said the front board fell off the trailer, it’s not known if the cows broke through. Witnesses describe how they immediately got out of their vehicles and began corralling the cattle into the ditch and off the highway. People driving by stopped to help get the cows back into the trailer, the cows put up quite the fight though before going back in. Some visible injuries were seen on the cows but nothing serious.
