Info from Licensor: Smoke was spotted billowing from the hayloft above the boarding Stable, Hillside Stable, LLC, and 911 was called. A neighbor and passerby ran into the barn and began opening stalls to release the horses. The barn owner and others also began opening stall doors to release the 39 horses trapped in the barn. Some ran down the side barn and congregated in front of the stall where my 27-year-old Paint horse, Kobeejo, lived. As he had a stall guard rather than a solid closed door like the others, he 'pushed' the frightened houses toward the arena and safety. This was caught by my stall security camera, which was destroyed in the fire. Upon release, Kobeejo led a group of horses out of the barn to safety. All 39 horses made it out alive and well."
