Sweeping a Path Through Millions of Mayflies

Occurred on July 3, 2020 / Burlington, Iowa, USA Info from Licensor: "Every year in either June or July the Mayflies sprout out of the Mississippi River and invade Burlington. The Mayflies are attracted to light. These creatures only survive for a few hours during which time they mate lay an egg and that is it. The eggs are then washed back into the river by rain etc and sit for 12 months until they return the next year. If I had to guess there are millions at a time that come out of the muddy river to invade our community. Oh yeah, and they smell like dead fish."
