Info from Licensor: "Extremely bad and dangerous decisions were made this day. Heed all warnings and evacuation orders from local officials. Do not attempt unless a professional. Never leave shelter. I drove down with my safety supplies anticipating staying in a parking garage in New Orleans. I stayed there for around eight hours before curiosity got the best of me and I ventured out. This is the result.
After my car got submerged, I waited the storm out in the shed you see to the right of the video in 100 mph winds. This lasted from 5-8pm when, at 9pm, I saw a pair of headlights. I wouldn’t have seen them if not for the garage door of the shed getting blown down. I learned many lessons. Three years later and a lot has changed for the better. Thankful every day that I'm here. This video terrifies me every time I watch it over. Estimated Winds 110-140mph."
