Info from Licensor: "I was on call for work, watching over water treatment plants in the area. It was hot, and I noticed the apples under the apple tree weren't liking it much. I wondered how quickly they would cook outside, and then got the idea to carve a face. Then, the ants went crazy! They loved the fresh apple face I provided for them, and they went to town. I made a stop motion by taking a frame in Vine every 30 minutes for two days. As the apple shriveled a twisted face emerged. The final video elicits strange reactions from people. I think they see their own mortality in the innocent apple face, and it freaks them out. I also cooked potato chips outside with the Sun and ate them."
