Info From Licensor: "We were having a pop up storm that brought around 3 inches of rain in a short amount of time. I was in my home Sunday afternoon around 1:30 and saw a flash of lightening that seemed to fill the whole house with light in an instant. My Dad (who is my neighbor) called me and asked if we were ok because he saw the lightning strike in my direction. Our houses are approximately 400 yards apart across a pasture for cattle. I told him we were fine. Around 4:00 my Wife said it looked like there was smoke between our house and my Parents house. I doubted that anything could be on fire after the amount of rain we just had but I looked anyway. When I went to the window I saw the flames from our house. The tree was approximately half way between the two houses or about 200 yards away. I drove out there on a four wheeler and took the video. We knew the fire was under control and that the tree was already a lost cause so we watched it burn until it finally burned in half and fell." - Brent Hager
