Info from Licensor: "Brody has swimmer syndrome, a condition that made him swim on the floor instead of walk. We took him at 8 weeks of age and rehabilitated him. Animals with untreated swimmer syndrome don’t live much past 8 weeks and often die from the rib cage crushing the heart and lungs. Brody is a fighter and we worked hard to help him. This video is when he was 10 weeks old and had been treated for 2 weeks and started moving more upright. He slid on the carpet at first and quickly learned to walk on carpet because it provided more grip than hard floors. He is walking now and has a positive prognosis for a full and healthy life."
