Info from Licensor: "My name is Scott Trent. I was traveling north on Hyde Road near Cumming, Georgia when suddenly another vehicle traveling south on Hyde Road came across the double yellow lines into my lane and was coming right at me. The other vehicle was completely in my lane. Hyde Road is a two-lane county road. For a split second, I thought, 'it's going to hit me head-on.' I'm a Safety Manager and part of my duties is to teach either classroom or hands-on Defensive Driving. My training kicked in. I was able to avoid the on-coming, obviously distracted driver by going off-road and was also able to avoid hitting a mailbox, a small culvert a driveway. No damage to my vehicle or the other vehicle. I suspect the other driver may have been texting or looking at their phone which I think caused this car to be so far over in my lane. I'm fortunate that I have had years of defensive driving training. 30 years at my current job. This shook me up when it happened. I just wanted to park my truck and get out. People really need to put their phones down while driving."
