Occurred on August 29, 2018 / Rodovia Castelo Branco, São Paulo, Brazil
Info from Licensor: "The hawk wound up in front of the car possibly because it was attacking some prey in the central bed of the road. The driver tried to swerve out of the way but the bird was going very fast and it was not possible. We did not see the hawk being hit and we did not hear any noise, so we did not stop the vehicle. Near the city of Sorocaba, approximately 150 km afterward, the road police stopped us due to the bird covering our vehicle's license plate. When trying to remove the bird, we verified that it was alive. We cut the grill of the vehicle, and to our surprise when we removed the bird, he was not only alive but in the perfect shape."
