Info from Licensor: "Fran is a Buff Laced Polish Chicken, and she has a very floofy headdress. We had some very cold weather (-40 C), and her mop top dipped into the water dish when she was getting a drink and froze up. It was very heavy and flopped over her eyes so she couldn't see. As a result, she huddled up in the corner underneath the roost where she also got pooped on by her inconsiderate flock mates. I brought her in to thaw her out and give her a bath... and discovered a wet polish chicken truly is a sight to behold! Fran was bathed, burritoed in a towel, and blow dried. She got to sleep indoors overnight with a treat of vitamin water and scrambled eggs to perk her up. She was returned to her coop and friends in the morning with her pouf looking glorious once more and is happy and well!"
