Occurred on September 1, 2021 / Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, USA
Info from Licensor: "This occurred in Bridgeport, PA on our street and the surrounding streets. The Schuylkill river overflowed due to hurricane Ida to levels above the last catastrophic flash flood over 50 years ago. We were not evacuated from our street by any officials and our community all helped each other out of our houses. This happened in the middle of the night, started at 1 AM, we left at 4 AM after being woken by our newborn and waded through water up to my waist (roughly 4 ft) with him to evacuate with the help of our neighbors. The water crested around 10 am, and was gone no later than 2 pm. Our basement was flooded as well."
