Oblivious Driver Did Not See Tornado - Pompano Beach, FL around 7:00am EST

Location: NW 15th street and Dixie Hwy, Pompano Beach, Florida, USA
Occurrence Date: February 16, 2016
Info From Licensor: "Driving to work on a typical wet S.Fl down pour, which happens quite often here. Driving behind a slooow vehicle which is going below average for a rainy day, 10 cars back and stuck behind him. Rain is just washing across the windshield and wipers are on full. Usually we have spots where the rain just falls in buckets and clears up. Go about a mile down road lights on street go out (armageddon), typical in the morning but it is unusually dark out, but I am watching the road, oblivious to what is in front of me. I get a chance to go around the car safely and notice a van doing a u-turn. Kinda scoff as he had no signal and totally illegal move. I merge back into the left lane and continue on.. Next thing I know I see brake lights and than boom everything around us starts flying and swirling. Debris starts to hit my car and I fight or flight I am gone out of there. Trying to go around or convince the other drivers to go and not sit there to take a snapchat or selfie with an F1 Tornado or Hornado as I have to now call it to make fun of myself... All good"
