Info from Licensor: "My wife and I love to walk our German Shepherd around the Lakewood Main Reservoir. We've seen a lot of wildlife here including bald eagles, coyotes, and deer. My German Shepherd, Wolfgang, really loves the snow and this day is was snowing so we went to the reservoir. We noticed when we got there that there were some animal control vans. Then a police officer arrived and the West Metro Fire Rescue dive team showed up. A buck had tried to walk across the reservoir and fell in. The dive team talked about how they were going to rescue the deer and I started filming once they started the rescue. The rescuer broke a path through the ice and looped the buck's antler and led him to the shore. They then needed to pull the tired buck out of the freezing water and warmed him with towels. They continued warming for about one hour and put him in the Animal control van. My wife and I had to leave but we talked with the fire department later that day and they told us that they released the deer."
