Info from Licensor: "At approximately 1:35 PM while at work, I received a motion alert on my phone from my Ring Video Doorbell. I activated the Live View feature on the app as it was unusual for someone to stop by my house in the middle of the day. I witnessed a person at the door wearing a Nike baseball cap, glasses, a dark colored hoodie, grey cargo pants and a bright yellow reflective safety vest carrying a messenger bag. Initially, I wasn't suspicious, due to him being similarly dressed as utility and telecom workers in the area. My suspicion was aroused when the individual started banging on the door and looking into the house through the window on the door. He even looks at the video doorbell a couple of times. He then tries to open the door using a glove, presumably to not leave fingerprints. I then saw him motion to someone to come over and he pulls out a walkie-talkie to communicate with someone not in view of the camera. Shortly after, a person wearing a NY Yankees cap, a dark jacket, and blue jeans came up the step. The person in the safety vest points to the video doorbell and the second person pulls a large screwdriver out of his backpack and hands it to the guy in the safety vest. The second person turns around and acts as a lookout while the person in the safety vest begins to violently pry the door open and break in. He gets the door partially open and you can hear the alarm warning go off. Just as he gets the door open, I am able to activate the two-way talk function and tell them to get away from the door. They both look shocked and take off. After interviews with local police, the video was posted to Facebook and many people claim to know who the individuals are. As of this time, no one knows if they have been apprehended."
