Info from Licensor: "We were driving to dinner on a Friday night went out of the corner of her eye we saw something brown and then our car hit something. We thought it was perhaps a cat. The next day at 11 AM my husband noticed some feathers on his grill and took a closer look. Then the owl turned his head around and looked him in the eye and scared the crap out of him. We called a wildlife rescue person, he was able to get him out pretty quickly. He was very calm during the whole ordeal. He is currently under observation and will be given a flight test this week. If he passes he will be brought back to our house to be released since his mate was probably nearby. If he does not pass the flight test he will go to Charlotte for rehab."
