Info from Licensor: "This lightning strike happened at Tappan Lake in Ohio on August 10, 2021. My son and my wife were just inside the house. We were on vacation for the week at our family lake house. It has been in our family for 61 years. Instantly, there was a smell of burnt pine after the strike. The tree split in half. The part that fell thankfully didn’t harm anyone but did damage a neighbor's shed. I was amazed at the power of Mother Nature. I have always been interested in storms so I felt lucky to witness that power firsthand and thankful no one was hurt.
