Info from Licensor: "My 10-year-old son was alone fishing at our pond, as he frequently does. He caught a big catfish and as he was reeling it in, a large Diamondback Water Snake tried to eat Chipper's catch. Chipper tried unsuccessfully to remove the snake from his fish by pulling and tugging on the body of the snake, but the snake would not let go. Chipper then ran about 100 yards to his grandparents' house, where he asked his granddad for help. Finally, after trying to scare the snake away from the fish, Granddad Richard Burman had the idea of placing the fish, still attached to Chipper's line, back in the water. Knowing the snake could not breathe underwater, they waited for the snake to abandon the fish and swim to safety. Chipper then removed the hook from the fish and let the catfish go. Chipper said the snake had a rough day and deserved to live."
