Info from Licensor: "We visited this remote location in the evening, an hour before high tide and watched the waters gradually cover the vast area of muds of The Wash, leaving only a small area nearest to us as we stood along the shoreline. At the exact moment of the highest tide, the birds began to take to the air in huge clouds. Eventually, after some awesome displays, they settled like a huge grey carpet on the remaining muds near to us and the shoreline. The spectacle lasts for just a few minutes but is one of the most spectacular sights to see. One of the wonders of the world which everyone should get a chance to see, food for the soul."
