Info from Licensor: "Bayanihan is the tradition of the Filipino people which is the concept of helping one another in the community which means 'good community spirit'. This is an ancient custom in which the villagers help someone relocate his house by lifting the entire house including the roofs, the walls and the floor to somewhere else. It's only applicable to the Philippine national house which is the bahay kubo, a wooden house or made from light materials. It's a genuine sign of a good community spirit, helping another in times of needs without expecting anything in return.
This is the tradition that I think is slowly dying out in the Philippines, but not here in Bogo. It gives us hope amidst the crises we are facing , a hope for the restoration of the virtues that this generation has forgotten."
