Info from Licensor: "Yukon 800 race-boat Wake 'Em Up, racing in the annual Roland Lord memorial race. Seconds away from the leader after the halfway point, then the weather changed for the worse. Winds picked up, making for some nasty conditions for these race boats. These homemade boats are built like an airplane wing, made to fly. We were already having a hard time keeping control of the boat with the headwinds. We came across a straight stretch of the river and got up to full speed. Halfway down the straight away, a huge gust of wind caught us off guard and took the boat airborne, like a plane taking flight. My experienced crew member tried to move forward to get it back down but it was too late. We braced for impact and luckily came out alive."
