Occurred on July 1, 2021 / Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Info from Licensor: "While I was Skimboarding at Lovers Beach in Cabo San Lucas, I had my phone on my tripod to try to catch some waves on cam. During this, a group of tourists wanted to take photos on a rock close to the ocean where I was waiting for a wave. They asked me was it safe to be that close about 30 seconds prior to this wave wiping them out. The swells were 10 feet with a huge surge onto the beach. This is a no swim beach due to the undertow and currents and people have drowned here, so I rushed over to make sure they were not going to get sucked out into the ocean. I even saved her sunglasses in the process. Everyone was okay with some minor scratches."
