Info from Licensor: "A normal morning for me consists of going to my chicken coop to collect fresh eggs. I usually have a few broody hens to check underneath. Without thinking, I reached under the hen “Raven” and felt something oddly unfamiliar…. slick in one direction and scaly in the opposite direction. I then realized what I had my hands on and immediately thought… “oh my! I must get this on camera!” I ran to retrieve my phone from the house and came back. “Raven” was sitting comfortably right where I left her… keeping her newly found friend warm. I removed her from the nest as carefully as I could with my one free hand and then tried to determine how to carefully remove this egg thief from the nest. First, I must figure out where the head is! Meanwhile, “Nugget” is not entertaining the fact that I am removing their new roommate. She continues to bite me while I try and convince Black Rat Snake that he’s not supposed to be in here. I carefully picked up the Black Rat Snake and relocated him to a different part of our property for it to digest the free breakfast provided by my wonderful silkie hens."
