Info from Licensor: "I’m a 6th generation fisherman born and raised in the small coastal town of Cundy’s Harbor. I have always been fascinated with marine biology and won the state science fair in high school with a project about lobsters of course! This video came about when I was fishing for baitfish off my family’s wharf (Watson’s General Store) on Friday the 26th of July at around 10:00 pm. I had my lights aimed down into the water and baby lobsters by the dozens started moving in. The lobsters were about the size of a dime and swimming all over the surface of the water. I’ve seen baby lobsters on several occasions before but I would still classify it as a very rare sighting. These lobsters have a 7-year journey ahead of them to reach a legal harvestable size here in Maine. I’m an avid free diver and it’s beautiful to see how well Maine’s fisherman have done to protect this beautiful industry through conservation efforts created by the fisherman for the future of these amazing creatures."
