Info from Licensor: "I was on my way down I-79 in Cranberry Twp, PA to see my first Pittsburgh Penguins practice. I was in the passing lane, about to pass a tanker truck, when a two foot long crescent wrench fell off of the front section of the trailer. I wasn't sure what it was, but more times than not, swerving to avoid something is more dangerous than continuing straight, not that I would have had enough time to swerve anyway. The wrench fell off of the trailer, hit the road, bounced off of the truck tire, bounced off the road, then went into my windshield. The damage was such that either the heavy end hit first, then the handle, or the wrench hit flat. The wrench was so heavy that it made a hole clean through the windshield, then rested on the hood of my car, hanging half way off for a couple of miles. I called 911, gave them the plate number on the trailer, and they told me to pull over and wait for a Pennsylvania State Trooper they had dispatched. I pulled over, and the wrench was still sitting on my hood. The State Trooper ran the plate, printed a report, and taped my windshield for me."
