Info from Licensor: "Catching fish on the lake, and as soon as we caught one I noticed from afar an eagle was gliding across the lake straight at us! The eagle turned away and flew up a tree as soon as he got close to my husband who was running the boat. He squawked up in the tree and followed us around the lake. As we caught another fish the eagle squawked again. My husband threw the fish in the air directly in back of our boat and I thought I would record just incase anything happened. Well, the eagle immediately swooped down and got the fish. What’s ironic is they never come that close to the boat! This was a huge eagle and an amazing sight to see him come up to the boat. He/she came and got a fish twice from us and we do believe brought it back to the nest for possible babies! Happy to feed these beautiful eagles. That happens once in a lifetime of them getting so close. This happened on July 12th, 2022 in Downeast Maine!"
