Info from Licensor: "Outdoor Education students and an instructor were accessing the Paddy Henessy Cutting of the Murray river for their last 8km of their trip. We went back to retrieve our canoes after deciding to take the shortest route and spotted a koala on a nearby tree. The koala was eager to jump into the canoe that was inching towards it so we concluded that the koala was stranded on the tree as the Murray had high water levels for the past few days. Finding a solution that will help the koala in its current situation, one of the students pushed a empty canoe in its direction so the koala could hitch a ride to shore. Once the koala got to shore, it roamed near us for a bit before taking a drink and disappearing behind some trees."
