Info from Licensor: "The first time we saw our redbone coonhound, Autumn, after her emergency amputation after a fight with our other dog one night. We brought her to the vet the next day. She couldn’t walk and we had to carry her in. They told us that her leg was infected already and they thought she had gone septic and probably wouldn’t make it. After 24 hours of fluids and antibiotics she finally took a turn for the better and they felt that they could save her by amputating her leg. We hadn’t seen her in 2 days and we were so worried she’d think we abandoned her. She literally cried when she saw us. She survived the infection and surgery and we brought her home. She’s still recovering."
