Go One Evo-R Wreck Caused by Rumble Strips

Occurred on October 5, 2019 / Salisbury, Maryland, USA

Info from Licensor: The Seagull Century is a 100-mile long ride, 4 velomobiles were riding in. I had 1 of 4 velos participating, which is the rarest of the kind, a Go One Evo R, made in Germany by http://go-one.de/, only 35 in the entire world exist, and mine is an ultra-rare version. It's very unique, being 1 of maybe 2 in the entire world like it. I lost control when my rear wheel lost traction on blind rumble strips in the white line, causing the rear wheel to slide forward, steering me into traffic. There has never been video footage of this kind of velomobile wrecking, not that I'm happy getting slapped with a $7000 repair bill. $3000 for the windscreen, and $4000 for repairs, cosmetics, and paint."
